Artisan

Artisan, the Lounge Bar at the hotel is a popular meeting spot for all age groups. Our welcoming and quieter area at the front of the bar is the ideal location to catch up with friends and talk without competing with loud music.

At the back of the lounge we combine both the pool table area and the large video screen to provide lively entertainment throughout the week. With live TV sports from Sky & ESPN to the latest live horse racing from "At the Races" the large screen has something interesting to watch. When there is no major sports events, the screen shows the latest music videos from a variety of channels.

Our Midnite Pool Table  with glowing pool balls, provides a modern variation on the traditional game. You can play Pool for Free on any Monday or Tuesday.

Between both these areas is our warm and traditional cast iron log burning stove. With a Queen Anne Armchair at each side, it is the perfect spot to drift away from the cold, wet winter blues over a dram or two.

Outside we have both a heated smokers shelter and our new decked beer garden. The Deck with its large central parasol complete with heaters to warm the night air provides a great spot to spend the sping and summer both during the day and in the evening. Our BBQ on The Deck operates Friday to Sunday from 3pm - 8pm, providing Burgers and Hotdogs etc.. for adults and children alike. The public playpark situated across from our car park allows parents to relax and enjoy a comfy seat and drink on The Deck while watching the children play in the park.

For summer 2010, we are adding a large 32" Outdoor TV so you can watch whatever is on inside, outside. Just the place for the World Cup matches on balmy summer evenings.
